Well it's back at it again after the winter break, which seemed to take forever!

This morning saw us travel to Denaby Main.  We knew it was going to be a hard game for us, but the boys were up for it and the game started really promising. 

Our lads were doing excellently, passing the ball around from the back, but against run of play the opposition got a corner which we failed to clear and Denaby were soon one up. After the goal our lads showed real spirit.  Credit to them, they kept their heads up and soldiered on.  

Second half played out from Bailey who got the ball to Charlie for him to then cross it in to Ashton. Ashton then forced their goalie into making a fumbelled save but, unfortunatly for Denaby, Ash tapped it in and we were level pegging - 1-1.

After that we took strong hold of the game with lots of chances coming for us, we just couldn't quite finish them off.  It was a  real nail biting second-half.  Excellent football, a good all round performance.
